Addiction and Grace

This series offers the perspective that addictions are a “sacred disease” because a spiritual path is the only proven cure. Addictions are attachments that nail themselves into our lives, they take our freedom and destroy our relationships. This series looks at questions like:

• What are your addictions?
• How are your addictions taking away your life and your relationships?
• How can you make new choices that will stick?

While alcohol, drugs and gambling often receive the spotlight, most of us have addictive habits that take away our freedom to respond in love. This series looks at the many addictions that we all face and invites us to find our freedom in God’s presence, love and forgiveness. Full of powerful images, these sermons invite addicts to see what can destroy them, their prized relationships and offers a path to wholeness.
