Sunday School

Children will be using “Rock Solid: Building a Heart of Faith”, a 4-year Bible study curriculum that enables children to experience God and build their faith in a very personal way through activities, crafts, stories, and games as they open themselves to a life-changing transformation.. This quarter the lessons will center on Joseph, Moses, and Joshua.

Youth will be considering choices between living righteously as God would have us do or following their own desires as we study the biblical accounts of the choices made by Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Abraham and Lot, Jacob through Moses and others in the history of the Israelites.

Children’s Church will be continuing the lectionary-based curriculum that correlates with the sermon topics selected by our minister, and will support their spiritual growth and concern for others as they learn the stories and lessons taught by Jesus.

Adults are offered a choice between 3 different classes for Sunday School; Pastor’s Coffee Class, The Seekers, and The Golden Rule Class.

Pastor’s Coffee Class

Pastor’s Class for Adults is designed for those who know little or nothing about the Bible or the Christian faith. It includes:

The Seekers class offers a study of the book The Shack.  Four different facilitators will lead and discuss selected readings from the book.

The Golden Rule class uses a video curriculum produced by the Teaching Company.  The course in study now is Comparative Religion.
